It was hearing Windows of the Soul that brought Lisa to the attention of Ian Jones of Karnataka & record producer Steve Evans. She was asked to join a new rock/celtic/ambient project “Chasing the Monsoon” with Steve, Ian & guitarist Ian Simmons & helped write & record the vocals for this album, which blends world music rhythms, ambient soundscapes, rock and celtic influences & looks to be released, hopefully in 2018!!

Ian Jones meanwhile also asked Lisa to join “Karnataka” as lead vocalist, which she did for five years, writing & performing all the vocals on the award winning Karnataka album “The Gathering Light” which received an amazing response and some fantastic reviews. Lisa’s performance on the album earned her two nominations for best female vocalist at the Classic Rock Society awards..

After five years with the band, Lisa decided in May 2010 that it was time to leave Karnataka. She has moved ahead to provide her unique style of vocals and songwriting talents for several different TV & film score companies and for other musicians around the world.

The award winning Karnataka album “The Gathering Light”, co-written & recorded by Lisa, is still available to buy at Amazon.

Lisa’s next project was not long in coming – In late 2010 she began work with multi-instrumentalist Dave John Ross, creating “Lirium” a musical project combining a tapestry of multi-layered soundscapes and ethereal harmonies drawing influences from many genres without limitations, which gathered a huge interest in the USA.
